Intergenerational Playgroup

PARENTS with children under the age of five, are invited to join Intergenerational Playgroup at Warrawee, tomorrow morning from 10am.

The group provides seniors with the chance to enjoy the sense of fun that young children can bring to their lives and and children the opportunity to have fun with new people.

Activities on offer include indoor and outdoor fun and arts and crafts.

Morning tea is provided.

Trivia Night

GET that game face on because St George Primary are holding a trivia night tomorrow night, raising money for the Year Six students upcoming camp to Canberra and Sydney.

The trivia night will be a fun way to end the first week back at school for Term Two and a chance for people to let their hair down, for a great cause.

Dirranbandi Show

SHOW season is upon us and Dirranbandi is holding its 93rd Annual Show this weekend.

All the regular show entertainment will be on offer, including animal events, sheep, campdraft, wool, stock horse and ring events, along with pavilion delights, a smorgasbord luncheon, food vans, rides and so much more.

In the evening, the Dirranbandi Show concert will be spectacular, with performances by Troy Casser-Daley, Jody Direen, Seleen McAllister and other acts.

Anzac Day

IT IS a time where we remember those who have served our country in war, and there will be a number of services running in St George.

The dawn service will begin at 6.15am at the cenotaph on the river, before a gunfire breakfast at 7am and services at the Cemetery and Hospital at 9am and 9.30am respectively.
