Farrcombe Contracting currently has an exciting position available for someone who enjoys a combination of roles.

We are looking for someone with basic cooking experience to cook for up to 10 people. Smoko, cold meat and hearty dinners. Although we are camped out we do not expect you to cook on an open fire. BBQ, oven, running water and electricity are available in a small air-conditioned kitchen.

This person will also be required to be organised enough so that they can attend the mustering days. Applicants must be able to ride a horse and have previous station or cattle experience.

At times other domestic duties will be required (some light cleaning, packing/unpacking camp, fuelling generator, feed horses etc).

The pay will depend on the level of your skills and experience.

We are camped out all year so you will live in your swag. We like to attend campdrafts and rodeos on our time off.

Our season normally runs from March to December but depends on the rain.

This position is for an enthusiastic person who enjoys being challenged.

Also looking for a male stationhand so this position may suit a couple.

Sophie Downs Station is looking for experienced ringers for the 2018 season.

Applicants must be able to ride a horse and must have cattle mustering experience.

We are also looking for a Camp Cook, applicants would need to cook for approx. 15 people.

PLB Contract Mustering is seeking employees to fill a limited amount of positions for the 2018 mustering season.

PLB operates three contract mustering and fencing camps throughout QLD, NT and WA with the majority of the work being carried out in the Kimberly and Pilbara regions of Western Australia.

Mustering is done with motorbikes, horses and bull catchers with both branded and feral cattle being handled throughout the season.

Season typically starts in late March and goes through until mid to late November.

Applicants must have experience with cattle mustering and processing and be willing to camp out and work as a team. Positions open to both female and male applicants.
